Autobiography

I, Turgunbaev Yerlan Mukhamedzhanovich, was born on 10/21/1963 in the city of Shu, Zhambyl region. After graduating from high school in 1981, I entered the KazSU named after S.M. Kirov at the Faculty of History. While studying at the university, I was a Lenin scholarship holder, awarded by the Central Committee of the Komsomol for excellent studies. After graduating from the university in 1986, I was left at KazGU as a trainee researcher at the Department of Archeology and Ethnography. In 1988-92 was a post-graduate student of the Department of Ethnography of the Institute of Ethnology named after Ch. Valikhanov. In 2010 he defended his candidate thesis. From 1993 to the present, I have been working at the Department of Archeology and Ethnology and Museology of the Faculty of History of Al- Farabi Kazakh National University. Author of two textbooks and more than 60 scientific articles.
